Government Affairs Intern/Fellowship
The Cormac Group offers a paid, hourly Government Affairs Internship/Fellowship for a term of up to six months. This position does not include benefits.
As a boutique government affairs and lobbying firm representing a dynamic portfolio of clients, we provide interns with meaningful, hands-on exposure to all facets of the advocacy process. Interns will gain experience across the full lifecycle of government affairs work — including legislative research, policy analysis, client support, communications strategy, meeting preparation, and stakeholder engagement.
This program is designed for individuals seeking to build a strong foundation in public policy, lobbying, or congressional service. Interns should expect to develop practical skills that prepare them to thrive in a fast-paced lobbying firm, public affairs role, or Capitol Hill office.

Requirements
Students applying for this internship/fellowship must have strong communication skills and should be majoring in Government or Political Science. Applicants should also have strong writing skills, as well as a solid understanding of the legislative process.
